Research Group of Local Legal Studies

  • I.- Object

    • The creation of the Research Group for Legal Studies (Local GREJL) is developing forecasts of art. Concordant and 124 of the Statute of the URV, and in the context of the Chair and Pedrol Antonio Rivers, local and Legal Studies in the Department of Public Law.
  • II.- Purposes

    • The GREJL aims to become a forum for technical and legal analysis and reflection, applied research, innovation and knowledge transfer in the field of public management and administrative-territorial organization and in particular in the field of local authorities.
  • III.- Areas of activity

    • The areas shall be GREJL activities are:
           -Information and promoting debate
           -Encourage continuing education, specialization and graduate
           -Scientific research
           -Innovation in local management
           -Observatory of good practice in local government
           -Knowledge Transfer
           -Documents and Publications
           -Studies concerning the future of the territorial organization of Catalonia and the legal system of local government in Catalonia.
  • IV.- Organization

    The GREJL will consist of an interdisciplinary group of professors and researchers from the Department of Public Law of the URV, with recognized expertise in theoretical and practical subjects that comprise the scope thereof, without prejudice to future additions of new teachers or other professionals.
