CALL FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST TO BE HOSTED AS A POSTDOCTORAL FELLOW AT TERRITORY, CITIZENSHIP AND SUSTAINABILITY RESEARCH GROUP, DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC LAW, UNIVERSITAT ROVIRA I VIRGILI, TARRAGONA, SPAIN.

This call aims to identify potential candidates for Postdoctoral Fellowships Programmes as Marie Sklodowska - Curie Individual Fellowship, Juan de la Cierva-Training, Juan de la Cierva-Incorporation, Beatriu de Pinós, and so on.

The research group "Territory, Citizenship and Sustainability" (TCS) is interested in receiving Expressions of interest from researchers willing to apply for an international or national Postdoctoral Fellowship. Selected candidates will receive support from TCS staff to co-write and develop a successful proposal for those calls where the candidate meet the requirements.

TCS works mainly in three major interrelated areas, with a human rights perspective and a critical and interdisciplinary approach: territory, citizenship and sustainability.

Regarding sustainability and territory, the Department of Public Law also hosts the Tarragona Centre for Environmental Law Studies (CEDAT) and the Chair of Municipal Legal Studies. In 2009 CEDAT was recognised by the URV as a research centre.

OVERALL REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Candidates must hold a doctoral degree;
  2. Outstanding record of research achievements and publications in top-quality journals;
  3. Not having completed the doctoral training/PhD at the URV.
  4. Fluency in English (both written and spoken).

Proposals will be pre-selected based on internal evaluation. The candidates will be informed of the pre-selection results by 24 January 2022.
