New date for the webtalk with Pia Hollenstein (KlimaSeniorinnen): July 14

The European Court of Human Rights ruled in favor of an association of women over 64 from Switzerland - KlimaSeniorinnen - who sued their government for failing to implement sufficient measures against climate change. One of the founders of KlimaSeniorinnen is Pia Hollenstein, who is a nurse and former parliamentarian.

On July 14 at 12:00*, we will have the opportunity to hold a webtalk with Pia to discuss all the details of this case.

In this dialogue, we will be joined by Ana García Juantey, Academic Director, coordinator of the Master's in Continuing Education in Sustainability: Environment, Society, and Economy, and professor at the CEI International Affairs at the University of Barcelona. Ana will moderate the session and engage in conversation with Pia.

The event will be in English, it is free of charge, but prior registration is required. Please, register here: https://form.jotform.com/251693680112354

Pia will answer questions from the audience, so we encourage you to prepare some and ask them! Don't miss this unique opportunity to connect with a direct protagonist of climate justice from a human rights perspective!

This webtalk is part of the ERASMUS+ Climate Justice Living Lab project, funded by the European Union.

*Due to technical issues, we had to reschedule the activity initially planned for June 6, 2025.
